Me looking at my unit tests failing one after another.
I want this book
Do you have any knowledge about the V6? My friend just gifted me one for Christmas. What are the odds!!!
Very nice. Thank you for explaining
Pretty cool. Thank you. I like watching videos on all these types of keyboards.
I can solder and do all that, but I honestly don’t want to now after watching how the process could be very lengthy. I’ll look into keychrone. Having dedicated media keys is a very important thing to me, if a keyboard doesn’t have it, I won’t even look at it. Thank you for the recommendation. Do you have any model number in mind that you recommend? I like red switches and 100% size keyboard
Oh damn, so you can program your regular letters to do that!!! Nice. I’m JUST starting to get into mechanical keyboards and don’t really know much. I have a Corsair K70 pro RGB with red buttons. It’s nice, but I just can’t get used to typing on it. I’m always hitting two buttons at a time. I have to lift my fingers really high and type. Second issue is the metallic ping. So, I’ve been doing some research to find me something I enjoy and also easy to type on. I love the clickitty clacks (or what they call thock). 😁
What do you do when you need the “F” buttons on those keyboards that don’t have them? Genuine question!
They use a Mac mini somewhere to route these messages. So you’re logging into that Mac mini with your iCloud credentials. Sounds like a privacy/security nightmare and creepy as fuck.
Or Pepto. It makes me shit tar 😂
So the joke doesn’t run on your build then. lol
Is there a particular reason why you prefer Gentoo over other distros? Can’t you run a conventional distro that doesn’t need to compile? Just curious, no judgement. I know that Marcan, the dude who reverse engineered the apple M1, runs Gentoo. Always been curious as to why some folks prefer it
Serious question, how long will it take to compile the whole thing if you had a ryzen 9 maxed out or an Intel i9 or whatevet those crazy CPUs are with all top specs PC?
Yeah, that’s annoying. :/
Timeshift, Timeshift auto-snap, and btrfs in the grub menu to have your snapshots there, too. Auto-snap takes a snapshot automatically whenever you upgrade or install some packages.
Wouldn’t that clutter your home partition since every distro you install has some things to put on there?
I’ve heard about this Altsrote thing and I’ve been meaning to check it out. Does it allow apps to be installed permanent, or do I have to verify every week like the other ones?
And we all know how much our people here care about stuff like this. lol
I always type get and then get very mad when the terminal/powershell tell me how high I am.
