Adobe is notorious difficult to run on Linux, even with wine. It’s one of the few things that I’d dare say could lock someone to windows unfortunately

Uhhh, how long was the first boot time?

I can’t speak for the quest directly but I’ve used programs like sidequest to load homebrew games onto my quest 2. It’s also really easy to do so I don’t think they’re quote going to be e waste yet

They probably removed certain libraries that are used by 32 bit programs
