Consider the possibility that they are selling the data collected from you for a profit and using part of those profits to pay for the cellular service.

Any recommendations on which DLCs to get?
OMG. I recall playing a Tarminator game in the 90s but was too young to care about the developer. TIL that it was made by Bethesda.
We need a Command & Conquer Remastered style treatment.
Am using a Zenfone 8 with a jack. As for future upgrade, still unsure. My top priority would be the size - has to be the same or preferably smaller than the Zenfone, so that limits my potential options.
I was travelling recently and was fortunate to be able to watch a F1 race. The track had a FM broadcast of the commentary in English, and my Zenfone 8 with the built in FM tuner made itself very useful indeed, since the FM tuner only works with wired earphones.
Tipping is like paying for DLC / microtransactionw but not getting anything out of it.
Yeah… NAH!
Yes, they may or may not launch the normal version. Then again, it’s only April. One can still hope. 👍
Manufacturers killed that word so no one can make fun of it. 🤣🤦♂️
Hopefully they’ll continue selling “compact” phones. Heck, I’m guessing there will be people who will be happy if Asus releases a compact phone every alternate year.
Right now, an Asus Zenfone 8. Been using it for a year and a half. Before that, a Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact which I used for almost 5 years. 😅
Another phablet sized phone. It’ll be a pass for me.
I wish Sony will bring back the XZ1C but with updated internals. Everything else can remain, even the 720p screen.
The fact that there exists a solution to protect against accidental edge touch means that having the digitiser/screen all the way to the edge of the device is a flaw in the design. 🤣
I find for me it is half about the usability of thw phone one handed and the other half being pocketability. I don’t want to have to carry a man-purse just to be able to have my phone with me at all times. Front pocket of jeans is where i keep my phone and the pockets are not deep enough to contain the phone without pressing into my hips when i sit. Keeping the phone in the back pocket is just inviting theft.
I just want another Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact with updated specifications.
This was brought up before and someone posted a rather extensive list of online services.
I switched from a Pebble Time to a Gaemin Vivoactive 4s. I think it’s as close to an eink smart watch as it gets.
Yes but I’m sad they are moving away from MIP and switching to AMOLED. That said, I recently discovered Coros smartwatches and they are still using “memory LCD”. Only time will tell if they’ll stick to it or transition to AMOLED as many others have.
I upgraded from a Pebble Time to a Garmin Vivoactive 4. Quite a bit more expensive but I’m really liking it.
I’m just sad that Garmin is slowly replacing their Memory-in-pixel display in favor of AMOLED screens. MIP displays seemed to me to be the next best thing to e-ink type displays - always on with minimal battery drain.
I’ll just need to keep my watch for as long as I can.
Yes, adapters are tiny but they stock out sooooo much. At least with corded earphones some of them come with 90 degree plugs which is so much better and lesser chance of something breaking.
Good point but people have been driving to and from the outback long before the arrival of the connected car. Except the car, nothing else has changed much and it’s still possible to drive around with a “basic” car. Besides, there’s always the mobile phone if connectivity is required.
