Well if it’s any consolation, it was a dumpster fire and they didn’t really miss anything.

I love their transparency.
Maybe you can try the ones that don’t have aluminum in them and just use corn starch. It’s similar to deodorant vs antiperspirant, with the latter being the most effective, because it has aluminum in it.
How about foot powder? Ever since I first tried it, I’ve never worn socks and shoes without putting on foot powder first ever again. It really helps with sweat and odor.
A résumé-generating event for sure.
I knew even before I opened the article it’s gonna be about fewer babies = fewer workers. Remember folks, when an article cites the “economy”, it just means the businesses and industries’ profits.
The difference is OP probably got their device with Windows already installed and they only needed to go through the setup steps. Setting up the installation media really is the biggest barrier of entry to linux right now. A lot of distros are so easy to set up with a step-by-step gui installer, but a lot of non technical users don’t have the knowledge, skill, or motivation to download an iso and create a bootable drive.
A high yield savings account is good for short term savings. Instead of barely earning anything on a regular savings account, you can earn anywhere from 4% to 6% in interest just for putting money there. It has all the standard protections of a regular account (i.e. FDIC insured) so there’s nothing much to lose.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a floss product that had ingredients listed on it. How can I check?
This is gonna be a piece of cake for The Satanic Temple to counter.
Cool! I might join as this is another avenue to get my music out to more audiences, but I agree with the other comment, not discord please.
Yeah, I remember reading an article that said the data wasn’t necessarily directly accessible by the mothership overseas, but there isn’t anything stopping employees from sending the info themselves, which IIRC is what happened.
Amazing! I’ve been using SinkIt For Reddit for a while. It’s great to have an actual app again. Thank you for this!
My org has a follow-the-sun rule and avoids having people work on weekends. It helps that it’s a global team, so there’s only around maybe 18-20 hours in the middle of the weekend where it’s not a Monday or Friday somewhere in the world.
Circling back. It looks like they did something this week and the filter no longer works. Any chance you know of a new filter?
Ah right, I misread the post. Unfortunately (or fortunately?), I didn’t really have any major issues back then and the only thing I didn’t like was the expensive rent and refusal to negotiate. Either way, I was already on my way out from that complex.
I was really tempted to do this whenever I was grabbing coffee at the leasing office (my rent pays for that machine, I’m using it as much as I can), and there are potential tenants waiting in the receiving area. I unfortunately didn’t have the balls to talk to them while the employees are sitting within earshot.
They scored big with the M-series macbook being a little thicker and having an hdmi port, and now they want to go back?
Because most low birth-rate countries are first-world countries, and they generally want to only accept people who can contribute to their society and not be freeloaders to the social system. This means they need to filter out the people that come in, and being first-world countries, there is no shortage of people trying to get in. Sometimes they want low-skill, not-highly educated people just for the cheap labor, but not the person actually staying permanently, hence temporary worker visas. If a foreigner really wants to stay permanently, they then need to ensure that you are educated, able to support yourself long term, do background security checks, and make sure you agree to integrate as you mentioned in the OP.
