Headline makes it sound like he is some kind of villain revealing his evil plot.

Maybe we need a new idiom for that… What about “stuck in the stems”? It’s after root, but before fruit / flowers / leaves.
My issue with third person in Skyrim was that combat or even interaction with other objects in third person wasn’t very good.
They have showed no combat in third person, so I am going to remain cautiously optimistic about it.
This was a very good showcase. Great list of games, and very nice presentation with “Day-1 on Gamepass” with so many of them.
Let’s hope for the best. 🤞
Can Bethesda get it shut down? For copyright stuff?
Astro Bot had a PS VR game in PS4 era, and apparently it was very well received. Then there was a “tech demo” with PS5, and now they are releasing a full game for PS5.
There is also a separate live action Minecraft movie in the works. With Jack Black playing Steve.
Just told my kid about it, and his face broke into a huge grin. I guess that’s the target audience.
Though, Netflix has generally been pretty good with their animated shows, so won’t mind taking a look at what they do with Minecraft myself.
I think this has been there policy since the start. Why do you consider it shooing themselves in the foot?
Ah, it’s finally out!
I have been keeping an eye on it, hope it comes to consoles.
This looks pretty good. Though, top down view, so some people won’t like it.
I think it’s for games that have some scheduled updates, like, new season launching 20th May, so instead of waiting for 20th May to get the update, you will download it on 18th or so, but the changes won’t apply until 20th. Basically, like how you can pre-download a game before launch, same thing, but for updates.
At least that’s what I understand from this.
I hope they discount them on consoles too. I have some Warhammer games in my wishlist.
Chants of Sennaar is also a pretty good indie game.
Interesting article. They also talk about indies and different consoles:
Having heard some indies at GDC talking about skipping Xbox and PlayStation because there just isn’t much of an audience for indies on those platforms if you can’t get included in their subscription services, we ask Lowrie about how healthy the console ecosystems are for indies these days.
He echoes the indies we heard from in acknowledging that Switch stands apart from Xbox and PlayStation on this front.
“They’ve created an ecosystem – and therefore a user base – that is really open to interesting concepts and gameplay ideas,” Lowrie says of Nintendo. "The PlayStation and Xbox user, for as long as I’ve been doing this… there’s a lot of people that still like indie games, don’t get me wrong. Cult of the Lamb has done very well on those platforms. But I think the large majority of those people buy those platforms to show off what they can really do. They’re looking at Destiny. They’re looking at Helldivers. They’re looking at Starfield. They definitely push those.
“I think the platforms themselves all are really strong believers in indie games. They really do push them. I think on the other end, the consumers – as big as they might be – there’s still a smaller portion than we would like on Xbox and PlayStation that are open to looking at a pixel art platformer and going, ‘I’ll give this a shot.’”
Can’t you make a free PSN account from any country? I know people in countries with no PSN using US PSN account, without any VPN or anything. You just set your country to US, or UK.
I am saving this, for next time.
Yeah, and MS bought inXile too, so maybe there could be something here. Though they too have switched to first person view for their next game.
It’s a GIF, so there’s no sound.
I’ll take my leave now…
