Got it and am posting this from the app. Well done!
Edge is Chrome, it’s built in Chromium. MS then adds on top of that to make it work (well) with their various products and platforms. If you run a corporate IT environment of any size, Edge is very good.
14·1 year agoI’m glad you asked. This is one of the biggest challenges to fediverse adoption. We need a better way to handle this so the new users don’t have to figure it out — because most of them won’t
Agreed, I tried the same this weekend and got frustrated

When it comes to the Hide feature, here is my request:
Please allow us to change the swipe from Hide to Hide All Above, which would allow for mass Hiding
I know many want to “mark read and hide” as they scroll. I would prefer to have a little more control.
This and the equivalent of multi reddits are the only things I’m missing from Apollo and the old site

An alternative suggestion:
Apollo allowed me to set a swipe gesture to: Hide all above
This a you to swipe, and all the posts above that one would be hidden. It made for very efficient scrolling, and it’s probably the one feature I have yet to find in any of the many Lemmy apps I’ve tried
