Some games are just supposed to be harder, it’s how they were designed. Developers shouldn’t have to come out and address anything. If it’s too hard for you, just refund it and move on to another game if you don’t have the patience to learn it.

I think you can enable it as the default mode and then it will load the game quicker? Definitely checkout Unciv though if you haven’t already!
You can play Unciv I guess, I don’t see why you would want a strategic view only though? Nothing stopping you just using that mode exclusively yourself.

Steam (and PC in general) just lends itself to indie games more, which is good. It could do better, but overall there’s a lot of great games that get the recognition they deserve. Triple A finds most of it’s success on consoles, where they can easily market it on the front page of the console, rather than just on the store.
But PC is (unfortunately?) really getting mainstream now, so we are starting to see a lot morals thrown out the window by consumers just to play the latest AAA slop too.
The question is, who wants to fork and maintain android? That’s a massive undertaking, one that wouldn’t seem worth it until it started getting meaningful percentages of market share.
We already have that. A reason they want to shift to ARM is so they can lock the hardware down.

They are not too much more expensive than the example you gave, unless you are buying franchise sets, which then you pay the licensing fees. Of course it wont be as cheap as alternatives and sure you are paying for the brand, but you get insane quality that lasts and the customer support is unmatched.

The point is you shouldnt have to turn it off, its a web browser, we want to browse the web, not be subject to whatever shite Mozilla want to force into it. Features like this should be optional plugins you have to download.
Overall scope was set by EA, they wanted a more mainstream shooter to compete with the likes of Call of Duty, so they could jump into the seasonal content/battle pass grind. But the devs made all these little individual decisions that add up.
