i don’t feel tardy.
i don’t feel tardy.
it’s pork dog, like many things it needs to be cooked properly.
if you want to risk it for undercooked meat, that’s on you. but certain things need to be sanitized. cooking does that. there are many ways to have chewy, yet properly cooked bacon.
people think immortality is a gift.
but it is a curse.
immortal bacon would be no different.
the times we don’t have bacon, give delicious flavor to the times when we do. if it was bacon time, all the time, then the phrase ‘bacon time’ would lose it’s significance.
i don’t think we should act like journalism was in a great place before.
FB capitalized on a weakened industry, but it was the industry itself that was responsible for that state.
they really fucked themselves by not transitioning to the new market, instead insisting that it was the customers that were wrong. all these years later, i’ve yet to see a news outlet that would be worth the subscription fee. they’re mostly recycling content from other, free sites anyway.
once the older crowd passes, traditional news outlets are done for. the ones that remain will be the ones that were providing the content all along.
The cost of cigs is also artificially inflated in many places. I’m glad to see less of the younger crowd smoking, that’s a good thing. But doing it in these ways just feels plain un-American.
We let an awful lot of things that are bad for us slide, because the effects aren’t as visible.
generally computers won’t stop doing things they were already capable of doing. tons of machines and businesses may rely on older hardware and software to complete specific tasks.
but yeah, a 486 is pretty past its prime, and the task could have been accomplished on something far more modern.
phones and tablets are fine for consuming media. they are noticeably worse at creating it.
i couldn’t imagine typing out long responses, sometimes with links, with a phone or tablet.
as for how many consumers still use PCs, hard to say. i know i don’t go a single day without using mine. whether it’s to play a game, type up a guide for someone to do something, or whatever else. on the flip of that, i also own a ultrabook that i use when i’m away from home. it’s capable of doing many things, but it’s no where near as capable as my desktop setup.
let’s be real here.
none of us are happy with the outcome.
pretty much ALL of us would have settled for $2.4 million.
let’s not just reference it and move on.
let’s show them doing it.
and let’s explore what it is they were saying specifically. they believe that Mr. Rogers was a ‘evil, evil, man’, because he told young kids ‘everyone is special’.
that’s what these evil, evil, people took issue with. a person on public television, not motivated by stacks of money, told some young kids they were worth something.
i also want to point out that this is the man they called evil. a man who went before one of the most powerful governments in the world, and talked about what was important to him.
in and of itself that’s not that unusual. people do it all the time. what made this time different is what was important to that person, and more specifically why it should be important to all of us.
it’s not like [human] Spez can think much either, so maybe that future is closer than we think.
we’re already seeing the results with Twitter, reddit’s just a bit behind the curve.
They’ve been doing it for a very long time now. I’m currently using a 2015 model, Dell Tablet. It has Linux support. Cost me about $250 (with a copy of W10 Pro), a few years back. I also got it with the hard shell keyboard dock, effectively making it a net book.
It’s been a great device, but probably isn’t what OP is looking for.
that’s because you are the product.
you ever notice that Batman’s relationship with Robins is similar to Joker’s relationship with Harleys.
You thought you were the first? You won’t even be the last.
that’s because it wasn’t. it still isn’t. the best hardware in the world won’t do anything for you if there’s no software to use it. with the iVRy dev working on this, and with Sony’s announcement, they probably realized it was a inevitability for someone to crack the software problem.
no one ever said it couldn’t be done.
be better all you want. but personally just fucking them up on sight would be ok with me.
let other people be better, but the being better part is what allows these kinds of people to freely march in the first place.
these people thrive on confrontation, and feel that confrontation will make others flock to their side. i think we should give them all the confrontation they want, basically at every opportunity. being better than them is good in the long run. being worse than them will get them off the streets.
this is Nashville, we can do both.
yeah, but i don’t know of any states that don’t.
these guys definitely should’ve caught a lot more hate than they did though. if some horrible accident befell those people, it’d have been a net positive for everyone else.
personally i’ve always hated Illinois Nazis, and i think i hate Nashville Nazis more.
most of the old coke machines use the code 4 2 3 1. these buttons are from the top selection button to the fourth. one will be a back button, another will be the accept button, and the other two will be your up and down buttons.
even if most of the machines are locked out, you’ll usually be able to see a few stats on the machine. kind of fun to mess with.
on the one hand, i’m really amazed the thieves were able to bring it down without attracting much attention, and were able to complete their work in somewhat short order.
on the other hand, i wonder how remote that station was from civilization.
The revolution will be live-streamed.
