      I guess its also our culture where sex is seen as the most important thing in life. So everyone is convinced their entire value consists of how much mating they are doing. Maybe that would be true if we were breeding animals but we are not.

        It might not hold true for everyone, but it is telling of a wide cultural trend when “virgin” is used as an insult, even though insults also exist for having lots of sex. And of course it is easy for the type of person who would legitimately use “virgin” as an insult to dismiss these complaints about society as “from those lesser virgins, they’re just bitter!!”

        I do not really have a problem with it, but considering other people do, it might be worth looking into.

        It’s different from person to person. The most consistent thing I’ve found is people trying to fit each other into a cultural box
