It took me years before realizing I needed to change how I ask questions to college admissions. I did 15 years of compulsory education for nothing because I was held to a lower standard then I even tested for. Being railroaded into CC because of that was not something I was willing to do when I finally got legal agency.
Despite making it very clear that I would rather redo 4 years of high school then do 2 years of college, no one suggested I just redo the CC classes at a 4 year. I had to be in a particularly undiplomatic mood to insist that I was asking a policy question, not a life advice question when I inquired if it was possible to redo classes I already got credits for.
I’m am withheld by capitalism from making the choices I want.
Honestly being in my 30s is pretty great.
The problem is now that I can afford to do whatever I want, sleep whenever I want, and eat whatever I want, my body can’t afford to.
Get some more reps in, you’ll hopefully be able to work out a way you can want to take care of your body. This will then in turn allow you to do eat sleep whatever you want.
I would prefer it if only my decisions affected my life, and not the decisions of other people. Want a well-paying job you’re already good at? Better hope that another person decides you deserve it. Same with getting a place to live. It was quite a shock when I learned you had to fucking interview to rent an apartment, and may not be approved even if you have the money.

worst i heard was about a landlord who invited all the “interested” at the same time for some kind of a MCQuestionnaire 🤷
