That’s not how that works. You can hope death on specific people and it’s not contagious, you can limit it to just the shitty people invading and starting wars, it wont spread to everywhere else. That’s a really weird and limited take on morality and ethics.

The story goes like this (exaggerating, biased, etc…):
They: haha, hope they’ll die
Me: (moralizing) do not wish death on the internet
They: you’re so soft, I ban you
Me: (arrogantly) do it, but your peers (supporters in this thread) will find a reason for hoping that you die
