Default argument values have been introduced to make it easier to implement optional arguments.
For example, instead of:
f = |a, b|
a + (b or 42)
You can write:
f = |a, b = 42|
...
Can we add a community rule that mentions of software releases at a minimum say what the software does? The category, if nothing else, but ideally an elevator pitch.
