And one of the worst years for the people who make them. https://www.gamesindustry.biz/over-6000-games-industry-jobs-lost-in-2023-so-far
Games journalism celebrates it’s most dishonest year to date.
Yeah. Game of the Year is going to be hotly contested.
Everyone knows it’s easily BG3
That’s a funny way to spell Pizza Tower.
This is Hi-Fi Rush and Lies of P erasure
HiFi Rush I wanted to like so bad, but they kept stopping me from playing the game to give me tutorials. It’s a rhythm game, and they stop you in the middle of your rhythm to ask you if you understand you have to hit the enemies to the beat of the music.
[A] Yes
It’s unbearable.
Seeing how most people dropped the game in favour of others it’s not very likely. Post honeymoon reviews are putting it just above Diablo 4.
Everyone knows the new LoZ is getting Game of the Year.
Best expansion for sure.
Yeah, I didn’t bother getting it since my coworkers said it’s basically BotW with a new mechanic or two, and I was pretty meh on BotW.
It’s popular though, so there’s a chance.
Oh I loved Botw but the new mechanic in Totk Isn’t my cup of tea. I’ll still give it a try at one point when the pc emulation gets better, but it’s hard to see this game as a stand alone game. Hence, my expansion comment.
If Sea of Stars doesn’t get (at least) Best Indie, I’m flipping tables.
I believe it. A lot of bangers this year.
But we also got a lot of potatoes.
But there are potatoes every year!
insulted German noises
Also Gollum and Kong Island.
