might skip this one, already played it twice
I googled Dr Slump to see if it at least looked closer to early Toriyama, Dr Slump looks a lot better. Looked up anything I could find on 70s Toriyama, that all looks way better than this

Just by the one photo, I can’t say for sure but each character seems slightly off… Like they aren’t exactly the same art style but they are very close… just not quite exactly the same like an AI tried to copy different artists for each one or soemthing… Idk I can’t say for sure it just seems weird to me.
It’s really goofy but somehow I really like it.
I tried DQ7 back on 3DS but it’s such a slog to get going I gave up. Going through this twice? You’re a true fan XD

I prefer smaller scale remakes rather than like FFVII. The art here works for me. It’s not standout. It doesn’t have the same amount of charm to it. Maybe all too clean. The one in Romancing Saga 2 looked pretty generic but at least it wasn’t a game that required a huge amount of sales to break even. Still charming
Never played the original, but I don’t feel a need for remakes.
They should remake Dragon Knight III instead.
or the DQ builder games so they don’t suck…love the concept but holy crap are the controls horrible to the point that I can’t play it.
