I will never understand the drones of humanity buying the same CoD game over and over. They literally remade older ones because they have no other ideas to milk their fan base. It’s horrible.

I literally bought OS 1 & 2 because of how much I enjoyed the EA of BG3 and how much I like the studio’s style. They deserve every penny.
Thank the gods for the internet when it comes to music. Mongolian throat singing got more attention then it would of, especially now with the Hu reviving interest after Tengger Cavalry brought it around in the 2000s. So much obscure goodness getting some main stream attention.

Sounds like a you problem if you’re relying on a social media service to help you build a brand. If you pay, you have legal recourse. If you’re there for free advertising, sucks to base your brand on hopes and dreams.

I’m not insinuating it wouldn’t be bad press for them. It’s simply the reality of being on someone else’s platform. You exist on their service at their pleasure. They can shut everything down tomorrow and you are owed nothing, but that does not free them of criticism.
Why is this news? It is their platform. You have your handle at their discretion. Getting paid for it? Hahahaha. Riiiight. This isn’t some domain that is actually owned. You own literally nothing on social media platforms. Whoever theorized he’d be paid is moronic and a perfect example of a twit.

Depends on what you listen to. You’d be hard pressed to claim something like power metal, or folk metal to go further, has much of any roots in Black rock, beyond a long trail of this guy did a thing, which lead to another thing, and several artistic choices later you get the very basic foundation of metal itself.
A lot of those genres base their inspiration in folk music of Nordic and Euro origin, and the fantasy elements being just as local or more Tolkien in nature.
Saying modern music all distills down to ripping off black guitarists of the early 1900s is, at this point, an assinine discussion to hold. There is so much nuance, creativity, and departure from the norm in all the decades to follow.
Here here. No sympathy for those who’d rather endure abuse for the sake of retaining their false sense of power. I am still technically a mod in a few subs, for now, and I just laughed to myself reading that post. I couldn’t believe the audacity of that exec, acting as if the relationship was just a tad rocky. I likewise couldn’t believe the audacity of the mods thinking their comments weren’t landing on deaf ears.
The only recourse at this point, in my opinion, is to abandon their posts, let the chaos and anarchy be sowed, so that there is no easy resolution by the time admins step in to fight the fires. Let the subs implode.
