Is this not the game I saw an article about like yesterday saying EA had missed revenue forecasts and EA stated a major overhaul is needed?
I guess step one is to restrict the player base more.

Freedom means you can cancel a subscription based on any arbitrary decision you chose. We should buy things based on our freedom to choose, if that means you chose based on quality that’s great and makes sense. If you choose for any reason other than quality, that’s great it’s your money.
How can you not see the fallacy in your own argument?
So do nothing and continue to financially support something you disagree with? Are you a cuck or something?
Never heard of it, how is this distro for new users? I run mint for reference, but I’m always trying to learn about other distros.
I’m aware the Streisand effect is specifically regarding concealing info causing way more attention drawn to it, my point is that highlighting the fact that gamers hate Denuvo and trying to change that fact will most likely only amplify the hatred.
I will be more specific I hate any software that isn’t required for a game to work. The reason why I worded it vaguely is because I’m not just talking about DRM, but anti-cheat and launchers as well (even though launchers aren’t 3rd party).
As far as metrics are concerned I’m perfectly ok with that, as long as I have the option to opt-in or at the very least made aware of it.
What it really boils down to is I don’t want any unnecessary extraneous packages with the software that I actually want. For the most part I avoid games that add these things.
That’s why I avoid games with launchers for the most part. I also specified what I meant by third party software, I could have worded that more concisely.
I think them trying to win gamers over is just going to Streisand effect the hatred instead. I don’t want 3rd party anything that I don’t elect to install, even if it doesn’t effect the performance( which I also don’t buy).
Mint’s sweet I switched from 10 a few months back. Biggest difference is getting use to the different file system, only 2 games have been unplayable (didn’t try to make them work tbh).
Ahhh I misunderstood your tone my bad, it’s a bit of an emotional topic for me. I’ve been checking in on friends the last couple days to make sure no one’s dead… I thought you meant that last sentence as an “we’re being censored!” Bit
I’m gonna guess you’re just trolling or unwell mentally, I am from WNC and a majority of my family and friends live there. There is one granite mine that supplies for chips and it is in a specific town called Spruce Pine. The government did not manufacture a hurricane that covered a third of a state so one town can give away mining rights
There are lines for grocery stores but it’s mostly because the store itself is throttling the number of people in the store at the same time, gas is non-existent, no cell or Internet connection, many without power or water or both. I don’t know if it’s as bad as Katrina but it is certainly pretty bad and way worse than when the area was hit by multiple hurricanes in the late 2,000s.
1.25×40×52= +2,600 per year before taxes, they would hit +10k after 4 years which almost certainly won’t keep up with inflation. So at best they would have equal spending power to when the 4 year period started
Linux, while overall almost botherless, still looses to windows.
Been using mint for around 2 months and I would say this is pretty accurate. Pretty much every game I play works out of the box. Discord however crashes the whole system sometimes and I can’t figure out why. Would still recommend Linux over windows but you will for sure encounter more issues.
You are right that 45 is still pretty decent all things considered. My mentality on it is: if they didn’t piss off the player base with broken update after broken update AND didn’t have the PSN fiasco AND didn’t constantly nerf every decent weapon, then the player would have naturally declined but it wouldn’t have been near as fast and I think they could have landed in a top 15-30 spot instead.
Of course no one actually knows but all of my group of 8ish people playing stopped a month after we bought the game for one of the above reasons.
I switched to mint 2ish months ago and a friend of mine switched to fedora at the same time. Both new from windows, I have had no issues with mint but he has now switched to Debian cause he was having issues getting discord to work properly.
OOTB experience with mint is it works, it kinda feels like cheating having a distro that works easily without tinkering. Like I don’t feel like a real Linux user haha, but I would 100% recommend it.
The meme is very accurate imo, the text would definitely be “hello fellow linux users!” instead of youths haha!
Other comments hit on this but I’ll add a little more. There is a good bit of trolls/trolling, some extreme views, and authoritarian government praise. Things like that.
Lemm.ee (my instance) is still federated so I see hexbear post/ comments. It’s definitely a more problematic instance imo.
. world is defederated with hexbear iirc
Other nations struggle with those issues too
I agree with you but other nations is vague. If by other nations you are comparing us to other very developed nations (Ex Europe) I would counter that the US has these issues to a way more extreme degree.
I disagree, I think it is basic human/biologic that drives us to grab up resources and hoard them to ensure survival/reproduction/future generations. Capitalism is just a vehicle in which we are capable of expressing that biological greed on a global scale.
Holy shit is that the reason why Jareth gets so pissy when Sarah says it again down in the tunnels and sends in the cleaners?
