      I suppose it’s enough that not every dullard is male, but also they probably want full administrative control. (Which is of course a huge benefit of the fediverse.)

        Also, dull men’s club is actually a real entity with a website and everything. I figured if I was going to make my own website I probably shouldn’t impersonate them.

      People want to be able to talk to each other without felling like they are being judged for posting something boring that “no one cares about”

      It’s for small talk style basic human connection. I get it.
