Experts say the outreach on behalf of a Trump political ally is highly unusual and represents a change in how political appointees engage with the tax agency.

yea i get it includes those ignorant of Trump, but i feel like the media shot itself in the foot with this one. the media cried wolf for 8 years, any time trump did or said ANYTHING that wasnt completely evil/obnoxious they would try to spin it that way anyway. it seems like trust for the media is at an all time low from everyone, and the way comments are astroturfed with bots…it makes it almost impossible to put out any sort of powerful message that isnt drowned out by infinite bullshit.

i think america and its religion of capitalism is facing its doomsday. greed cascades and inevitably enshittifies everything that can be monetized - and nobody does that better than America. problem is, decades of decimating the education system to create better consumers has created generations of people who will just stare blankly with occasional blinks if you try to talk about anything real, or you get the “i dont do politics” which makes it harder to convince to give a shit.

lets say the majority of the general public is on the same page about Trump…we’ve already established that he is immune to all laws and can pardon anyone who isnt. hes actively ignoring the constitution and ignoring judges orders. the militia/2nd amendment types are mostly his cultists so i dont see that taking off. so whats next at this point?
