The Department of Agriculture is demanding states hand over personal data of food assistance recipients — including Social Security numbers, addresses and, in at least one state, citizenship status, according to emails shared with NPR by an official who was not allowed to speak publicly.
Yep, because cash isn’t a thing and everyone that owns a gun is an NRA member.
If the government wants you to have to show id to buy ammo, it’ll happen.
Unless you are manufacturing your own ammunition, you have to interact with someone the government has leverage over.
Also, it’s really easy to make re-loaded ammo.
You have to show ID to buy ammo now. They don’t take a picture of your ID and send it off somewhere when that happens, they just make sure that you’re old enough to buy it (like alcohol or cigarettes). For me, they look at me and see that I’m over 40 and that’s good enough to be my ID.
I don’t know where you’re coming up with your bullshit but you should stop. It’s a waste of your time, and it’s all wrong.
Do you not think the feds could pass a law saying that sellers have to keep a list of everyone who buys guns or ammo?
Honestly, I’m really curious at this point why commenters here are so absolutely convinced that they couldn’t.
Lmfao, no. Just stop.
The feds DO NOT PASS LAWS!
What do you think Congress does then?
LMFAO - do you think Congress is “the feds?” If you’re not a US citizen, your lack of info is forgivable.
Congress is the legislative branch of the federal government, yes. They make the laws carried out by the executive branch. “Feds” refers to federal employees.
So yeah, members of Congress are feds, though not the ones you are used to seeing at your door.
No, “Feds” refers specifically to federal law enforcement. The “fed” sets interest rates.
No one refers to congress as the feds.
At this point it’s clear you’re trolling.
