A friend on the outside could then use the geolocation data from the analocator and drone deliver supplies at night. The contestants turn the camera off at night and the secret delivery wouldn’t have to be anything overt that would be easily noticeable post-delivery.

Contestants are allowed to bring ten items to the location with them. Part of the show is deciding which items to bring and which items to go without - skipping a fire starter or a water bottle, for example. But this way they could drone deliver a few of those small items they skipped out on.

I’m talking about this show, for anyone unfamiliar: Alone - Wikipedia

It’s such a great show. I was thinking more like a ferro rod or a knife, something small that would aid in catching/processing food rather than drone-delivering actual food.

Like if someone wants to bring salt, they have to give up on one of their ten survival items. But this would let them bring the salt and then just follow up via drone for the item they gave up to bring the salt.

I mean - it’s certainly possible, but you’d still be risking that 500k prize if you got caught.

And most people seem to tap out because of loneliness or starvation, so if you were going to cheat, you’d pretty much have to smuggle in either food or a better way of getting it - like a decent fishing rod and proper lures.
