Members of Canada’s autoworkers union, Unifor, ratified a tentative three-year agreement with Ford on Sunday after the union had reached an 11th-hour agreement last week to avert a possible strike.
n addition to the improvements on pensions, the Unifor agreement addresses Unifor’s core priorities, including a wage increase of 10% in the first year of the agreement, effective September 25, followed by a 2% and 3% increase over the next two years of the contract.
It doesn’t look that good to me.
Coordinated action to undermine UAW workers confidence in their negotiations? I’ve seen too many such things for it to be a coincidence.
