GOP Congressman Cashed Out Hospital Investments Before Voting for Biggest Medicaid Cut in History | Common Dreams

Republican Congressman Rob Bresnahan campaigned on banning stock trading by lawmakers, only to make over 600 trades himself. He sold stocks before voting for massive Medicaid cuts, putting his own profit above Pennsylvania hospitals. Is this the kind of politician we want representing us? #Corruption #HealthcareInjustice

If illegal means “has consequences” then if you’re rich enough, everything is legal.

There’s a limit. The French remind us there is a limit.

The Americans remind us their limit is much further than that of the French.

No one’s stopping you from going outside and doing something about it.

I’m not in the US, so that’d be a trick. I’m also not keen on being imprisoned because some moron border agent found all my hateful writings about Trump and his country.

Anyway, I hope they find that limit one day. Doesn’t seem anywhere in sight yet though.
