    That is honestly a slam dunk. Here is the Wisconsin election bribery law. By law you cannot offer, give, or even promise to offer or give anything of value to someone to get to vote or not vote for or against anyone or any referendum. IANAL but I don’t think there’s any wiggle room in this law. Oh, and based on section (b), anyone who accepted the million dollars from him is also guilty of election bribery.

    I should add that anyone who violates this Election bribery statute has committed a Class I felony which is punishable “a fine not to exceed $10,000 or imprisonment not to exceed 3 years and 6 months, or both.”

    I would very much like to see him get 3.5 years in prison.
