Ukraine has a hotline for Russians who don’t want to fight for the Kremlin, and it proved to be quite successful. It makes perfect sense to make a hotline for Gazans who don’t want to fight for Hamas.
The difference there is that Russians that surrender have an expectation of surviving.

You guys need to get it through your heads that those arguments don’t mean shit when dealing with a murderous Jihadist group who routinely uses their own population as shields.
This is so well known that I have to assume you all know it and just don’t care to consider how that changes the rules of engagement.
If combatants take up shelter in a school or hospital, guess what. That’s now a valid target.
I can’t say what would convince the Palestinian people. They voted for Hamas to control their government so they’re either also murderous Jihadists, stupid, or just terribly misinformed people to put a group like that in control.

Also note, this isn’t a way to get out of the fighting. Anyone using the hotline will still be stuck there, getting bombed.
