12 months per kid? A marijuana possession charge is more time than that.
It’s a bit pointless to argue the length of the punishment because any year added will be added to his corpse. Most legal systems do not stack their punishments as a flat rate like that. The first kid probably gave him most of the jail sentence and the rest added very little.
Also I don’t think normal possession charges in Australia just gives you a fine because it’s not USA. If you look it up it says 2 years for possession but that includes carrying 50g of heroin so carrying a joint will not send you to jail.
All a fair point. I hadn’t put much thought into the comment, but good on Australia for putting him away for life.
More like six months per victim, if you do the math. Australia really cares about their children, obviously.
