The Princess of Wales has apologised “for any confusion” her Mother’s Day photograph caused, after five agencies retracted it over editing concerns. Catherine, in a statement posted on Kensington Palace social media, said: “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing.”

If this royalty thing doesn’t work out, she’s got a job in photo editing to fall back on.

I’d say, better to work on it now with a small time issue that won’t hurt you if you make the wrong decision. Stuff like that will only get better and eventually shit will hit the fan.

It’s not a nothing story if you know the backstory of why the photo was released in the first place. It’s actually very interesting.

While this seems dumb I think all edited photos should be labeled as such. It really gives a warped sense of reality when only edited and warped pictures and videos are shown in the media

Based on where the edits are, it seems like she took a few shots and picked the best version of each person. While I agree with you, the warped sense of reality here is that you can get three kids to look at the camera and smile nice at the same time.

If you mean the strange bending, kids tend to fidget a lot when standing still to take a picture. It’s something I can and do often do as well.

E: though that’s his right hand I’m talking about. I don’t see anything wrong with the left hand, it’s just holding the chair arm.

Yeah, sorry I got them mixed up, you are correct.

It just seems like more than that to me. It looks really unnatural, but you could be correct.

If you look through my profile, my previous two comments have pictures of me and somebody else both mimicking the hand in another thread. I personally don’t see anything off with the hand. Though I guess it is entirely possible the hand got fucked up in some way that makes it look more unnatural by whatever process resulted in the girl’s sleeve getting cut off.

This how cheap the royal family has become … making up shitty events to scandalize themselves into the headlines to try to stay relevant.
