Considering all the provocation, I can’t say Israel might not be illegitimate.
Did that offend you or scratch the wrong nerve? Maybe violence is never the right answer, but simpy the easier or even only one.

If Israel doesn’t want a military response, maybe it shouldn’t assassinate an ambassador to Iran in Iran’s capital, blow up an Iranian consulate in a third party country, or commit a terrorist bombing that also kills an Iranian commander in another country.
All of these are acts of war.
Complaining about this attack is like a child bully complaint after he gets hit back the first time.
