Summary

Trump acknowledged he cannot guarantee that tariffs on trade partners like Mexico and Canada won’t raise prices for U.S. consumers, despite his earlier promises to curb inflation.

He plans swift actions on immigration, including ending birthright citizenship via executive order and implementing mass deportations.

Trump also suggested possible legal action against political opponents, including pardoning Jan. 6 rioters, while claiming no interest in revenge.

He expressed willingness to negotiate protections for Dreamers with Congress but maintained a hardline stance on family deportations.

His comments highlight a mix of contradictory statements.

He was never a good businessman. He just played one on tv. He’s a rapist. He’s a racist. He’s surrounding himself with the same. I hope his health fails soon.

you’ve got a few weeks to stock up on non perishable food, before a) tariffs make imported crops prices skyrocket; and b) deportations = US crops rot in the fields because no one’s there to harvest it = supply plummets = price skyrockets

this will all, of course, be blamed on the mexicans, blacks, gays, women, democrats, etc., and of course, magas will lap it up like hogs at the trough

“Dreamers” are undocumented youths brought to the US by their guardian who are in education.
    https://wikipedia.org/wiki/DREAM_Act

There are a whole bunch of caveats, including “good moral character”.

Many laws create a paradox by placing the burden of proof of good moral character on the applicant while such a proof, but not the law, necessitates that the evaluators assess the beliefs and values of the applicant.

I bet this is the “loophole”. Dreamers are allowed, except when denied by “this certain bullshit Texas judge who judges everyone to fail the Good Moral Character test”. Surprise surprise, that’s where all cases of dreamers is held.

I know you’re being sarcastic, but if the Supreme Court allows it to stand (I’m assuming those EOs will be challenged in court immediately), they basically do overrule the Constitution.
